My boy hand feeding carp floating fish pellets at Lake Anna Virginia during the memorial day weekend. It also produced my boy's first fish story. The next morning he told his aunt that he "caught a big fish".
Awesome family activity in Alaska. We drove up to the Kashwitna river and rode around on our four wheelers. Tommy had a ball. We also had a family picnic on a gravel bar on the Kashwitna River and saw a moose up close.
The tunnel to Whittier is called the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel or just the Whittier tunnel. The tunnel is the second longest highway tunnel in North America and it goes under Maynard Mountain 13,300 ft (4,100 m). The tunnel is 2.5 miles long and it is one lane. Sharing both direction with a railroad as well.
ommy and I visit Potter's Marsh in Anchorage Alaska as well as check out Cook Inlet from the bluffs around Anchorage. We watch salmon and see the mud flats.
