1x5 Glad Tidings
Season 1 Episodes
12 episodes1. Bad ‘N’ Ruin
Tony Belloti Sr. is shot dead outside a port warehouse, leaving his three children Vincent, Carla, and Dominic to reckon with a sudden power vacuum. The siblings reveal competing ambitions at a family dinner. Meanwhile in Boston, a construction worker named Mick DeAngelo reads about the murder and is told by his dying mother that Tony Belloti was his father. He drives toward New Jersey as the siblings begin circling each other.
2. Music Box Dancer
Tony's funeral pulls the family together in grief and immediately fractures them along old fault lines, with Vincent heartbroken over Tony's death and moving to consolidate power. Dominic is unfazed by Tony's death, and so is Carla. Mick reaches Newark, and an old family tailor confirms Tony was his father. Detective Elena Vega, newly transferred to organized crime, begins researching the Bellotis.
3. Barracuda
Vincent feels like he is being watched. Carla traces a reactivated shell corporation and suspects Vincent is hiding money. Dominic is approached outside a nightclub by men from an organization called Marina Holdings after a bar fight leaves someone hospitalized. Mick poses as a property buyer at Tony's old apartment and later helps a stranger jump-start his car on the side of the road, then finds the man's ID and realizes he just spent an hour with his half-brother Dominic.
4. Wrapped in His Memory
Vincent tells the family a fourth heir exists, and the news splits everyone differently. Dominic breaks into an ally's restaurant after hours and finds ledgers bearing his own name as a fraud cover, then kills one of two men who ambush him. Carla traces money back to Ray Cifarelli, their father's longtime lieutenant. They talk, and Ray respects Carla and promises to protect her whenever she needs it. Mick is brought to a family dinner and saves Dominic's life when gunmen open fire on the house out of nowhere. Rosalie tells them the same men who killed their father are probably behind the attack.
5. Glad Tidings
Mick meets Ray Cifarelli at a scrapyard and receives a SIM card pointing to the family accountant, who admits on tape that Rosalie designed the offshore accounts while Tony only signed his name. The siblings force a confrontation at Tony's old restaurant, where Mick drops this information in front of everyone. Rosalie confirms it. All three siblings receive the same anonymous text summoning them to a warehouse, where the confrontation collapses into chaos and a gunshot cuts the screen to black.
6. Comes Love
Vincent is shot in the arm during the warehouse confusion, traced back to a man named Rudy who has been manufacturing conflict between family factions for years to consolidate power for himself and a partner named Juan. Mick finds Rudy's history proving the manipulation but discovers Juan has moved in to take direct control of the operation. Elena photographs her own captain meeting Rudy and Juan at a private marina. The episode ends with Mick calling Vincent from a payphone to warn him that Rudy is alive and not working alone.
7. Smoke on the Water
Dominic and Mick begin rebuilding dock control through a private Elizabeth shipping route while Vincent turns Tony's old warehouse into a stolen parts operation. Rosalie visits an attorney and discovers Tony's legacy assets have been drained by an outside party. Elena follows Rudy's logistics trail to a barge carrying charity-labeled cargo. He watches HER from a distance and can't seem to take his eyes off of her out of admiration. She narrowly escapes two men who spot her.
8. There's a Moon Out Tonight
Rudy confronts Elena about her following him. She tells him the police work is none of his business. He clearly is attracted to her, but there is no chance. One of Dominic's couriers is found burned in a car by the docks. Vincent and Dominic take their crew to a parking lot confrontation with Rudy and Juan's men and a shootout erupts. Juan disappears in the chaos. Vincent drags Dominic behind a car as sirens close in, while Mick stands in the smoke holding the bloodstained ledger.
9. Spitfire
The morning after the factory shootout, the family regroups in damage. Dominic lays a trap to bait Juan's men using false intel but undercover cops arrive instead, confirming a leak inside his operation. Rosalie breaks into Tony's locked private papers and finds a handwritten note reading, "If anything happens to me, tell them D did it." She decides never to show anyone those papers.
10. Day After Day
Rudy wakes up with a crazy headache and bruises all over his head. He doesn't even bother to question it, as he has lost so much touch with reality. Rosalie follows a stolen property address to an abandoned garage, where she overhears Juan's men discussing moving a body and keeping Rudy unaware. Vincent tells Mick he wants out, Mick accuses him of losing nerve, and Dominic receives a call setting something in motion. Rudy finds Juan dead in a warehouse, shot once through the forehead, and no one claims responsibility. Rudy can't think of the last time he saw Juan. The episode ends on Rudy kneeling beside Juan's body, fury building behind his eyes. Rudy breaks the news to Juan's family. Juan's brother, Marco, takes it the worst.
11. When It's Cold I'd Like to Die
A family gathering reveals hard truths and confrontations emerge. Rudy storms the family gathering and opens fire, believing Vincent killed Juan. Rosalie is shot in the stomach during the chaos. The siblings scatter, Dominic tackles Rudy while Mick forces his men back, and Vincent holds Rosalie on the floor as she tells him they buried themselves. She dies. Rudy escapes into the night, muttering she was not supposed to be there. Vincent sits alone on a curb at dawn, sitting with Rosalie, his mother since a kid's death, with her blood on his hands as the sky turns gray.
12. Smokey Places
Rosalie's funeral is quiet. At the cemetery, Tony's long-absent consigliere Carmine Bellotti appears without warning and says it is time to come home. That night at the bar, Carmine tells the siblings Newark now answers to him.
